Bio: Dan began cheerleading at Oak Harbor High School on Whidbey Island in Washington. His championship squad was known for producing talented individuals and Dan was no different. After his high school years, Dan new-found passion for cheer earned him a position with the National Cheerleaders Association as a summer camp instructor. He enrolled at Western Washington University in the fall and continued his involvement with NCA, eventually earning honors as a top Head Instructor in the Northwest.

In 2001, Dan voted for a change of scenery and relocated to Eugene, Oregon. His passion for instruction led him to a position as coach of the Sheldon High School Cheerleaders. In 2004, the Irish captured their first-ever OSAA State Championship in the 4A Small Division.

The following year, Dan moved north to Portland to finish his technical degree and began work as a CAD Coordinator. He kept his hand in the cheer industry conducting skills workshops for local teams and managing camps for NCA during the summer. Today, Dan spends his weekdays working for the prestigious CH2M Hill firm, and his spare time training teams at StyleShock and competing with the newly established Open Co-Ed Team.
